Sean is one of our Bruno's SCUBA instructors and has worked for Bruno in various capacities for many years.

His wife Misty recently had to undergo extensive surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and they have incurred a substantial amount of related expense as a result.

Sean and Misty will be forever grateful for any and all donations and we will be donating a large portion of purchases of "Bruno's" logo items, including winter caps, fleece jackets, and T-shirts, to help with the expenses associated with Misty's surgery.

Hats are available online, everything else is in store, where a greater amount of purchases will ultimately go to Sean and Misty. (Online purchases incur substantially more fees):

We have some 5mm Neo Sport Velcro Gloves (in Medium & Large sizes) and some XXL Hyperflex Fusion 2 Gloves for bigger hands.

We've got lots of Bendy-Wendy regulator hoses on special — $30! Even if you assemble your gear really badly and end up with the hose tied in a knot, you can still breathe through them!

Using a submersible that he has been working on over the winter, Jamie Loffredo launched from the Port Sanilac Harbor boat ramp last weekend with a couple of willing crew (waivers signed!) to make an initial reconnaisance pass on what appears to be a large Japanese Fishing vessel in the Sanilac Shores Preserve (possibly washed in from the recent tsunami?!)--click on the following link to see a selection of the pictures he brought back: Bertha Explores Lake Huron Wreck.

This year is the Fordseahorses' 30th Annual Show and we will, as always, be having a booth in the exihbition hall. So, save the date so you can come down, learn about some historical shipwrecks from the divers that discovered them, see some amazing tropical diving movies shot by local adventurers, and grab some swag from us—Saturday March 5th. Stop by our booth and you could end up making out like a pirate—we have some secret super-special booty to surrender to a lucky few!

Bruno's staff will be coordinating and running the Be A Diver pool at this year's Detroit Boat Show at Cobo Hall on February 11th thru 13th. This is a perfect opportunity to try scuba for free! The pool is lovely and warm and we will have wetsuits to fit everyone from young kids to aging woolly mammoths(!), so come on down and give it a go (or bring down someone who has always wanted to but never gotten around to it!)

This time last year we introduced 120 adventurers to SCUBA, ranging from 8 years old to 65 years old. Come on down and give it a go!

Throughout May we will be running Open Water Diver classes with a view to getting students ready to complete their check-out dives aboard the Great Lakes Diver on weekends in June and July.

This month, if you are already a certified diver and you refer a student to us you can come out and dive with them on their last two (of four) check-out dives… for free! Alternatively, if you are a student of ours and have a friend who is certified, bring them along on your last two (of four) check-out dives… for free!

Either way, we introduce new students to the underwater world, you gain a dive buddy, you get a free charter worth $95, our instructors get to teach classes out on the wrecks in Lake Huron, and everyone’s happy!
