SSI Drysuit Class

$125.00—$275.00

We are Great Lakes wreck diving specialists and that means we've spent a lot of time in cold water. Although not always essential during the height of summer (you can comfortably dive a 2-piece 5mm in August), drysuits are definitely our friends!

We have access to Viking Dry Suits, which you can use for the duration of the class if you do not already own your own (we may need a little notice to get one in your size, so check first).

In brief, the course will cover:

  • Why Dry Suits?
  • Types of Dry Suits
  • Dry Suit Valves
  • Underwear Selection
  • Dry Suit Accessories
  • Dry Suit Techniques
  • Maintenance of Dry Suits
  • Dry Suit Repairs.

Further information on SSI's Drysuit Diver course content can be found on their website.

Course pricing includes: Training Materials, Classroom Theory & Pool Skills Instruction, use of Bruno's Pool. Checkout Fees of $50 per person are also included:- these fees cover certification card and 1 X 2-Tank dive trip aboard the Great Lakes Diver.

Drysuit rental for the duration of the class if you do not own your own is $100. Students must provide their own snorkeling & SCUBA equipment. If you require Bruno's Rental Gear this is an additional $50 for the duration of class.
